As a result of the resounding success of our IT in the Workplace Training Course last year, Avondhu Blackwater are pleased to deliver the course again this year. With the emphasis on industries in Ireland to deliver employment there is huge opportunities not only within the IT sector but within all employment opportunities that require extensive use of IT.
This course is designed to encourage participants to consider these career opportunities.
IT in the Workplace uses jargon free simple explanations of IT and it’s uses. The IT industry is full of jargon words and a mystique surrounding areas such as computer programming, “the Cloud”, industrial robotics and Android/iPhone applications. All of these areas and more are covered in an easy to understand and interesting manner. IT in the Workplace aims to fully expose all aspects of IT to participants.
According to Caitriona Hogan “Participants, who completed the course last year, reported that the course gave them the confidence to consider and pursue a Career which involved IT related activities”.
IT in the Workplace begins on 22nd April 2013 in Mallow Co Cork.
As this course is fully funded under the Local and Community Development Programme, the course is free of charge and will not affect Social Welfare entitlements.
Priority will be given to those on the Live Register however a small percentage of places are available for those who are unemployed but not on the live register.
