Avondhu Blackwater Partnership has linked with a Fáilte Ireland approved trainer to deliver a high quality Tour Guide Training Course.
The course will be localised for the North Cork area and would be of huge benefit to anyone interested in working or volunteering as a tour guide. The course is suitable for people with a general interest in local heritage and history and would like to learn more about the tourism industry, in particular how to guide groups in a professional manner in your area.
The training will take place in Fermoy. It will commence in September 2011 and will be run on a part time basis until November 2011, approximately 6-8 hours per week. Some of the training sessions will be in the evenings and on Saturdays.
