Practical Support for the Unemployed

As part of the strategy to support people experiencing unemployment or job insecurity, Avondhu Blackwater Partnership is currently offering a Career Coaching Initiative to individuals.

The purpose of the initiative is to help and support individuals with the challenges and concerns they are currently experiencing around seeking or changing employment.

A number of FREE Career Coaching sessions will be offered to support and explore all options available to participants to take the next steps in their career/life path.

This Initiative aims to offer practical support and focus on solutions to current unemployment and career challenges

Places are very limited so please respond promptly

Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, however, priority will be given to those individuals in the LCDP (Local Community Development Programme) remit. Individuals do not have to comply with strict Social Welfare criteria as the service is flexible to include those who may not fit Unemployment Benefit or Assistance criteria.  The initiative is open to people living in the Avondhu Blackwater area, (Greater Mallow, Greater Fermoy and Greater Blarney areas). Priority will be given to people experiencing unemployment, underemployment, redundancy, reduced working week, job insecurity and low-income families.

If you would like to take the opportunity to meet with the Career Coach please request application form from Avondhu Blackwater Partnership at 025/33411

Email or postal applications must arrive no later than 5pm on Monday 29th November 2010
