Creating local networks and contacts as well as word of mouth are the keys to success for many businesses in these tough times. With that in mind, Mallow’s Spiralli Business Centre is inviting local small business owner/managers to take advantage of their free Local Networking Event and Anti-Recession Party on the 9th of September from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Local husband and wife team, Ivan O’ Donoghue and Niamh Ni Chearbhaill, wish to share their business community attitude by thumbing their noses at the down turn in the economy and inviting other businesses to come and do the same.
This short but sweet networking event will provide businesses with an opportunity to meet their peers on an informal basis as well as provide access to important local groups such as Mallow Chamber, the Avondhu Blackwater Partnership, the North Cork Business Alliance and First Employment Services, all in one spot.
The champagne will flow at the relaxed social event, where attendees will also be entertained by pianist/composer Cormac Brennock and local band Tremolight.
On the evening, guests will also receive event-exclusive vouchers courtesy of Spiralli to save money on various services, further underlining their ethos of creating and maintaining business on a community basis with the intent of helping other local businesses grow and prosper.
“We decided to make our launch a networking event, because we wanted to share our contacts with other local businesses in the hope that it can also result in new business for those who attend,” says Spiralli owner Ivan O’Donoghue. “Our ethos is that of business community growth as a whole. If our customers grow then so do we, which in turn should result in future job openings”,
Spiralli’s new offices at Market Square will be officially opened by Sean Sherlock TD at 5.30pm on September 9th 2010.
