Calling all garden enthusiasts! Irish gardens remain one of the country’s best-kept secrets. This is especially true of the Blackwater Valley, where the River Blackwater flows through lush pastures with moorland and dramatic scenery never far away.
Avondhu Blackwater Partnership Ltd are in the process of re-launching the Blackwater Valley Garden Trail Brochure and are looking for Garden submissions to be included in the booklet. The trail brochure will provide tourists with contact details, the location of the garden and a brief description of the plant collections and features that they may see. Such open gardens appeal to both the tourist and the general public.
