Avondhu Blackwater Partnership Ltd in conjunction with Fermoy Town Council and An Taisce are once again conducting National Spring Clean.
We are inviting all Resident Associations and individuals in the Fermoy area to participate in the removal of litter and clean up their community. In recent years, Fermoys success in the National Tidy Towns Competition is a tribute to those who keep Fermoy a litter free town and reduce the amount of rubbish that is dumped illegally. This is a major opportunity for residents to show pride of place in their respective areas.
As a result of National Spring Clean, An Award Night will take place in June 2010 to acknowledge the hard work that has been undertaken by all involved.
Avondhu Blackwater Partnership are fully committed to the creation of an overall greener lifestyle in the local community and actively raising awareness around environmental issues such as waste management, water pollution, energy conservation and sustainable living.
